Once upon a time, in the land of Greenvale, a young lord was born to an ailing kingdom and a family that was half absent, half severely unpleasant. Though once ruled by the great and terrible Black Baron, they had long since scrubbed his evil reign from the family histories and whitewashed themselves into respectability. The youngest member grew up overshadowed by his elder siblings, forced to keep his head down and watch while the family name declined and their home slowly crumbled around them.

Until the day he reached his sixteenth birthday, and discovered a whole new side to his family legacy (not to mention the castle). His great-uncle had left behind more than they'd thought. In their home and in the blood.

After all, Evil always finds a way…
